Wide receivers

Starters: Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams

Slot: Randall Cobb

Reserve: Geronimo Allison, Trevor Davis, Jeff Janis, Max McCaffrey, Antwan Goodley

Davante Adams’ resurgence paired with Jordy Nelson’s return from a torn ACL was exactly what the doctor ordered at wide receiver.

Adams’ explosion off the line of scrimmage showed just how good a player he can be when healthy. And you can bet he benefited from the return of #87 alongside him.

Randall Cobb hasn’t hit the heights of 2014 for a while, but the Packers have a talented group of pass catchers for Aaron Rodgers to work with.

Verdict: I’ve long held the belief the Packers need to find the future at the position. Nelson is soon-to-be 32 years old. For all of Adams’ strengths, will he be ready to take over the headline role once Nelson walks away?

Adding another wide receiver in the draft shouldn’t be a priority, but something to consider.
