Round 7 – Cooper Rush, QB, Central Michigan

It would make a lot of sense for the Packers to spend a late-round pick on a developmental quarterback.

If Brett Hundley has a really strong preseason this year then he could be a valuable trade piece for the Packers next offseason. It would be smart for them to then bring in a young quarterback to develop to be their eventual backup.

Rush is a smart quarterback with a strong arm, who lit up the Mid-American Conference as a four-year starter.
