It was defense again for the Green Bay Packers in the third round with defensive lineman Montravius Adams. Here’s the reaction from Twitter.

It’s been a 1-2-3 on defense for the Packers on Friday. GM Ted Thompson turned to the secondary with his first two picks, selecting cornerback Kevin King and safety Josh Jones. In the third he added another body to the defensive line with Adams, who arrives from Auburn.

The 6-foot-4, 304-pounder has received mixed reviews since hearing his name called with the 93rd overall pick. Here’s some of the latest from Twitter.

Overall, the vote has brought positive results from Packers fans. Here’s some more reaction from Twitter.

It’s a good point from Aaron Nagler. The Packers also added Ricky Jean Francois in free agency, it’s worth noting. Guion’s days could be numbered. So what can we expect from Adams?

At least Ted is happy with the pick:

Ted was surprised and elated, but Adams was a little busy. It’s a double congratulations for the newest member of the Green Bay Packers.

There’s some positivity from Packers fans, too.

The third-rounder will need some work.

The talent is clearly there for Adams, he just needs the right coaching to ensure he reaches his potential in Green Bay.

It’s a solid pick for the Pack, but this Tweet captures the reaction of many fans:
