1. How will the new tight ends fit into offense?

One of the most exciting developments during the spring came in free agency, and at the tight end position. Despite all of Jared Cook’s heroics and iconic tip-toe catch to help the Packers go deep into the postseason, he was replaced.

One of the two incoming tight ends is a former teammate of Cook, and the man who took over his duties for the Los Angeles Rams a year ago, Lance Kendricks. The other is one of the league’s premier tight ends, Martellus Bennett, who won a Super Bowl in New England last year.

How will the pair, along with fourth-year Richard Rodgers, fit into Green Bay’s offensive plans? Will we see more two tight end sets? Will they both be featured prominently as receivers or relied on for their blocking?

We’ll begin to see clues to how the Packers will use them during camp. The key for both is to quickly transition into Green Bay’s scheme, pick up the playbook and avoid injury.
