Fantasy Football: Packers keep, trade, drop after Week 11 loss to Ravens
Jamaal Williams: Trade away
Jamaal Williams put together a solid stat line for fantasy owners that trusted him in Week 11. While he wasn’t all that efficient with just 3.2 yards per carry, he had 18 carries and caught four passes. The rookie is No. 20 among running backs in PPR scoring this week (prior to Monday Night Football) with 13.5 points. Now is the time to trade him ahead of the deadline.
With Montgomery likely back in the near future, Williams’ role as the workhorse could be short lived. He was a volume-based start against Baltimore, but without the touches will struggle to produce consistent fantasy points.
Williams’ last three fantasy scores in PPR scoring (according to ESPN): 11.2, 8.4 and 13.5. To the casual observer that could spark some interest. But when you look a little closer at the situation, he looks the perfect sell-high(ish) candidate. Williams’ 11.2 is deceiving; he scored a garbage-time touchdown at the end of regulation against Detroit. His previous two performances have been based entirely off of volume, and that’s no guarantee to continue.

If you can move Williams on for a solid RB2 or WR2, make the move before its too late.
