Round 1: Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S

Rewind to the spring of 2014. The Packers’ biggest need was at safety. Thankfully for Ted Thompson, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was there at No. 21.

Clinton-Dix immediately helped the defense, forming a strong pairing with Morgan Burnett. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2014, and went on to become a Pro Bowler and second-team All-Pro in 2016.

Clinton-Dix disappointed in 2017 and looked to have checked out during the final few games of the season. He deserves the benefit of the doubt after three strong years that he’ll bounce back in 2018.

Round 2: Davante Adams, WR

Davante Adams was the immediate replacement to James Jones in 2014, and the Packers hoped he could eventually become the team’s top receiver. It took a while to get there, but Adams has delivered.

He did a lot well as a rookie, but was overshadowed by the stellar performances of Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, who both smashed the 1,000-yard mark and combined for 2,806 yards and 25 touchdowns.

When Nelson went down in 2015, many expected Adams to step up. But it was his worst season to date. Adams, too, was hurt, dealing with an ankle injury for most of the year.

But Adams has bounced back in a big way over the past two years. Missing just two games in that span, he’s posted 1,882 yards and 22 touchdowns. Adams has become the clear No. 1 receiver in Green Bay.
