Muhammad Wilkerson has completed his visit with the Green Bay Packers, Sam Shields has signed with the Rams, and more in the Packers News Report.

Good morning and welcome to the Packers News Report for Friday, March 9, your home of the latest Green Bay Packers news and analysis from around the internet.

Muhammad Wilkerson has left Green Bay without a deal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Fans shouldn’t panic, though. Wilkerson is reportedly meeting with the Saints and Chiefs next, but Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel tweeted that the visit in Green Bay “went very well”. Wilkerson will want to have a few options before making his decision. After all, the more teams interested, the higher his price will rise.

We should know in the coming days where Wilkerson will be playing his football in 2018. Here’s hoping he reunites with defensive coordinator Mike Pettine in Green Bay.

In other news, former Packers cornerback Sam Shields has signed with the Los Angeles Rams, also according to Rapoport.

Shields missed the entire 2017 season and only played one game in 2016 after suffering a concussion. Let’s hope Shields has a great year with the Rams, and more importantly, stays healthy.
