player. 87. . CB. UCF. Mike Hughes. 24

The Carolina Panthers have two major glaring holes at wide receiver and all over the defensive backfield. In a division where your defense has to face Drew Brees, Matt Ryan and Jameis Winston twice a year, then solid defensive backs are a necessity.

Their cornerback group is looking like one of the weakest in the NFC, and adding Mike Hughes could help to begin to solve that issue for the Panthers. Hughes is a very physical corner, with fluent hips, and has a knack for finding the ball. He also adds value on special teams as a returner.

EDGE. Georgia. Lorenzo Carter. 25. player. 35.

The Titans have an overall solid defense, but they could use some help along the defensive front and with their pass rush.

I actually have Carter graded as a second round pick, but with Davenport, Landry, and Nwosu off the board; the Titans may have to reach a little bit for a pass rusher. Carter has very long and disruptive arms. He is a very athletic and rangy linebacker, who is mean and violent, especially when he reaches the quarterback. He could be a nice addition to the Titans linebacking corps.
