7. Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers

Randall Cobb has been a frustrating fantasy player in recent years, and his ADP has taken a tumble as a result.

Cobb finished 49th among wide receivers in standard scoring last year, according to FantasyPros. He was 40th in PPR.

The 27-year-old is a long way off reestablishing himself as an every-week fantasy starter, but the fact the Packers chose him over Jordy Nelson is an encouraging sign. New general manager Brian Gutekunst and head coach Mike McCarthy clearly believe Cobb still has plenty to offer on offense.

Without Nelson, Aaron Rodgers no longer has his go-to target in tough situations. This could, and should, lead to more targets for Cobb. Jimmy Graham’s addition does need to be factored in, though.

Much can change between now and your fantasy draft. There’s a good chance the Packers will add another wide receiver or two in this month’s draft, which would further complicate the distribution of targets behind Davante Adams. But until then, we can safely assume Cobb is set for a bigger share.

If the veteran can get anywhere close to his Pro Bowl season of 2014, fantasy owners will receive tremendous value from their late-round pick.

Cobb is worth picking up in the later rounds, but he needs to prove he can be trusted in starting lineups.
