LSU. D.J. Chark. 2. player. 49. . WR

Brian Gutekunst has already shown he’s not afraid to be aggressive. From attempting to land Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller by signing him to an offer sheet, to the big free agency signing of Jimmy Graham, Gutekunst is willing to make a bold move when he sees fit. After addressing the team’s top two needs early on, he strikes a trade with the Steelers to move just ahead of the Jaguars at the bottom of the second round.

The Packers have a need for speed at wide receiver, and D.J. Chark can provide just that. His 4.34-second 40-yard dash was the fastest among receivers at the combine in February.

A Packers offense featuring Chark could become very exciting. He wouldn’t need to be the team’s No. 1 target, Davante Adams fills that role perfectly. Green Bay would have a size mismatch in Jimmy Graham, a talented slot receiver in Randall Cobb and finally a player who forces defenses to respect the deep pass.

Having 12 picks helps the Packers out here. To move up 16 spots, they could give up their third-rounder (76th overall) and the first of two fourth-round selections (101st overall). The team would still have a compensatory pick later in the fourth.

By the end of the second round the Packers would have addressed three needs, adding talent on both sides of the ball, and they would still have plenty of picks on Day 3.
