Green Bay should make inside linebacker, cornerback priority in first round [Lombardi Ave]

Evan Siegel takes a closer look at the No. 14 pick. Brian Gutekunst needs to hit on a few defensive picks in this year’s class. Finding an inside linebacker or cornerback should be his priority in the first round, depending on the board when they hit the clock.

Run on quarterbacks would be good news for Green Bay in draft [Lombardi Ave]

An early run on quarterbacks would help Gutekunst. If three quarterbacks are taken early, Green Bay would effectively own the 11th overall pick. That would mean the top defensive talent in the draft falls closer to No. 14. Maybe Gutekunst would decide to trade up if a potential difference maker falls to say, pick No. 10. He could also decide to just stick at 14 and take the best defensive player left.
