Packers: Full list of remaining unrestricted free agents
Six of the Green Bay Packers’ unrestricted free agents remain unsigned.
The new league year kicked off almost a month ago, but the Green Bay Packers still haven’t re-signed any of their own unrestricted free agents. Maybe they won’t at all.
The Packers have made three notable signings, bringing in five-time Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham, two-time All-Pro defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson, and Tramon Williams, who was a Pro Bowler for the Packers in their Super Bowl-winning 2010 season.
The team has lost safety Morgan Burnett, tight end Richard Rodgers and special teams ace Jeff Janis.
Here is a list of the Packers’ unsigned free agents:
Ahmad Brooks, OLB
Davon House, CB
Jahri Evans, G
Brett Goode, LS
Quinton Dial, DT
Ulrick John, LT
The Packers might not re-sign any of them. They have the cap space to bring back a few, but you can make a case against bringing back each of them.
Brooks struggled to stay healthy last season, and only contributed 1.5 sacks. He recently turned 34 years old.
House struggled last year. The signing of Williams gives the secondary a veteran who can guide the young players. It wouldn’t be surprising if House isn’t re-signed, with Green Bay instead turning to the draft to address the cornerback position.
Evans played well last year, but turns 35 in August. The Packers may have already made their decision to get younger at the position, and there are players on the roster capable of taking the job. Justin McCray could be next in line.
Dial would add depth to the defensive line, but the Wilkerson signing may have hurt his chances of coming back.

I don’t see Goode or John being re-signed, either.
That doesn’t mean Green Bay is done in free agency. There are still players out there that could help the team get better. A lot could depend on how the draft plays out in under three weeks time.
