Packers: 5 players that need to contribute to contend for Super Bowl
In conclusion
The Packers quietly have put together a high-quality roster that should easily compete in 2018. Other players such as wide receiver Geronimo Allison, guard Justin McCray and safety Josh Jones will also look to be major contributors. The team’s two biggest question marks are pass rushers and the secondary.
The Packers spent their top two picks on cornerbacks in this year’s draft, but I do not believe that attests to their confidence in King. The secondary has long been one of the worst units and it’s more likely that Gutekunst had simply seen enough. If King and both of the draft picks pan out, this secondary instantly becomes formidable. Gutekunst also re-signed veteran Davon House and brought back former Packer fan favorite, Tramon Williams. These two are hardly the answer in the secondary, but can be a guiding light for a secondary full of young talent.
The pass rush will be two-fold: interior and the EDGE. The EDGE defenders will have to stay healthy and take steps in development to be effective this upcoming season. The interior pass rush will be one of the most reliable units on this football team.

Gutekunst has done a good job of acquiring talent to help Rodgers take this team to a championship. If everyone can develop as the coaches believe they will, this team will contend.
