The Packers will also play their four preseason games in August.

The first two are at home — the Tennessee Titans visit Lambeau Field on Thursday, August 9 at 7 p.m. CT, followed by a game with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, August 16 at 7 p.m. CT.

The Packers then visit the Oakland Raiders on Friday, August 24 at 9:30 p.m. CT, before finishing preseason on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs. That game is on Thursday, August 30 at 7:30 p.m. CT.

It will then be all about the regular season opener against the Chicago Bears.

There will be a number of important positional battles determined at training camp.

Who will be the backup quarterback behind Aaron Rodgers: DeShone Kizer or Brett Hundley? Could the Packers keep three quarterbacks on the 53-man roster?

How does head coach Mike McCarthy plan to distribute the carries at running back? Will one of Ty Montgomery, Aaron Jones or Jaamal Williams earn a featured role, or will McCarthy opt for more of a running back-by-committee approach?

Will any of the rookies earn a starting job?
