Honorable mentions

Cameron Heyward (Pittsburgh Steelers): The Steelers have an underrated front seven headed into the 2018 season. Ryan Shazier‘s injury will certainly hurt it, but it still looks like one of the stronger front sevens of the AFC. Cameron Heyward and his ability to pressure the quarterback is a big reason for this.

T.J. Watt (Pittsburgh Steelers): Watt had a very impressive rookie season, he was in my opinion a strong candidate for the defensive rookie of the year award. He has a chance to be in the top 10 of these rankings one day.

Yannick Ngakoue (Jacksonville Jaguars): The Jacksonville Jaguars obviously have a very impressive front seven with names such as Calais Campbell, Malik Jackson, Myles Jack, and Telvin Smith. Lost in the shuffle is Ngakoue, who is one of the best young pass rushers in football.

Myles Garrett (Cleveland Browns): Garrett had an impressive rookie season, yet he still didn’t manage to live up to some people’s expectations. I could see him reaching double-digit sacks this year.

Ryan Kerrigan (Washington Redskins): Kerrigan has been stuck on mediocre defenses for practically his entire career. The Redskins front seven is starting to look better with the addition of Da’Ron Payne, and hopefully this leads to better numbers for Kerrigan and the other players in that unit.
