5. Calais Campbell (Jacksonville Jaguars)

The Jaguars’ signing of Calais Campbell back in 2017 is one of the best free agency moves in recent NFL history. It has helped launch the Jacksonville Jaguars defense into a complete juggernaut. He is one of the most well-rounded players on this list.

4. Chandler Jones (Arizona Cardinals)

It’s safe to say that the Arizona Cardinals have won the Chandler Jones trade with New England. Jones is making the loss of Calais Campbell less hard of a pill to swallow. Meanwhile, New England is in desperate need of pass-rushing help.

3. Joey Bosa (Los Angeles Chargers)

I wasn’t a huge fan of the Joey Bosa pick, but he has managed to change my mind and make me look stupid for thinking that in his first two NFL seasons. The Chargers have the best pass-rushing combo in the league with Bosa and Melvin Ingram.

2. Khalil Mack (Oakland Raiders)

Mack was nearly number one on this list. I believed that Mack was a better prospect than Jadeveon Clowney headed into the 2014 NFL Draft, and he has managed to affirm my belief. Mack is a generational talent.

1. Von Miller (Denver Broncos)

Miller has been the most consistent and dominant edge rusher in the NFL over the past two to three seasons. It’s crazy to think he will now be paired with Bradley Chubb, who will also be an edge rusher known for incredible consistency. Miller is a future Hall-of-Famer, and may someday be the best Bronco not named John Elway.
