Packers: Predicting Week 1 starters at each position
Cornerbacks: Tramon Williams, Kevin King, Jaire Alexander
The cornerback position suddenly looks a lot healthier. The Packers have a few new faces at corner, but it’s a returning one that leads the way.

Tramon Williams is back in Green Bay three years after he departed in free agency. Strangely enough, he replaces Damarious Randall, who initially was drafted to replace Williams in 2015 before getting traded to Cleveland earlier this offseason.
Williams has experience in Mike Pettine’s defense, and is far and away the most experienced player in the secondary. His knowledge, experience and talent makes him the perfect player to have in the starting lineup Week 1, especially with a number of young corners around him.
Second-year Kevin King should start, assuming he’s fully recovered from a shoulder injury that ended his rookie season early. King played well and now has a year of experience to his name.
In the slot is first-round pick Jaire Alexander. Alexander could soon become a starter on the outside, but in Week 1 he’s good fit at nickel corner.
Veteran Davon House could start if the Packers don’t feel the young corners are ready right away. Second-round pick Josh Jackson will likely begin the season as a backup, but could become a starter by the end of the year.
