The Green Bay Packers are going to win the Super Bowl.

Pete Prisco of CBS Sports has predicted every single game of the 2018 season, from Week 1 all the way to the Super Bowl.

He has the Green Bay Packers finishing the regular season 12-4, securing the NFC’s top seed and guaranteeing home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

In the postseason, Prisco predicts Green Bay will eliminate the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons, before defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Super Bowl next February.

Sounds good to me.

With Aaron Rodgers healthy, the Packers will be in the mix in what promises to be an exciting, competitive NFC. The defending-champion Philadelphia Eagles still have a loaded roster, as do the Saints and Los Angeles Rams.

Winning the NFC North won’t be easy. The Minnesota Vikings have arguably the best roster in the entire NFL. They have got better at quarterback by signing Kirk Cousins, and a healthy Dalvin Cook makes their running back room stronger.

The Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears will make the division competitive, too.

Detroit has finished 9-7 two years in a row, and is very close to becoming a regular playoff team. After an offseason focused on strengthening the offensive line and run game, maybe this is the year the Lions hit 10 wins.

Few teams had an offseason as strong as the Bears’. If Mitchell Trubisky steps up in his second season, Chicago’s offense could quickly become one of the league’s best.

But the Packers’, too, have had a good offseason. And with Rodgers coming back, they also have the best quarterback in all of football.

If Mike McCarthy’s team can navigate their way through a tough schedule as Prisco predicts, finishing on 12 wins as the NFC’s top seed, they will be very difficult to beat at Lambeau in January.
