Wide receivers (7)

Davante Adams, Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison, J’Mon Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown, Jake Kumerow

While Trevor Davis could still make the roster due to his play on special teams, it would be difficult to cut Jake Kumerow considering how consistent he has been this summer. To me, Kumerow has done enough to make the roster, and he has a chance to strengthen his case with another good performance in the final preseason game.

All three rookies have played well enough this summer to earn a spot on the 53, and they each have a ton of potential. Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison will be the starters early in the year, but don’t be surprised to see at least one of the rookie receivers take on a bigger role as the season goes on.

At this point, it’s hard to see the Packers keeping less than seven receivers. It’s still possible Davis makes the team over Kumerow.

Tight ends (3)

Jimmy Graham, Marcedes Lewis, Lance Kendricks

No change here. Robert Tonyan has played well in preseason, but it’s unlikely he has done enough to overtake one of the three veterans on the depth chart.

The Packers will go with Jimmy Graham and Marcedes Lewis as their top two tight ends, with Lance Kendricks providing depth and experience.

The Aaron Rodgers-to-Jimmy Graham connection could be a fun one to watch this year.
