4. New Orleans Saints

The Saints were unlucky not to reach the NFC Championship Game a year ago, and who knows how far they could have gone from there? New Orleans boasts one of the best offenses in football (even without Mark Ingram for the first four games), as well a solid defense. The Saints will again be contenders in 2018.

3. Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are all in for 2018. After spending big to sign Ndamukong Suh, and most recently re-signing Aaron Donald, as well as trading for Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib, this is a star-studded roster. Can the Rams take the next step and win a championship?

2. New England Patriots

Another season, another AFC title for the Patriots? As ever, they begin the year as favorites in the conference. There might be some concern with the receiving corps, but Tom Brady will make it work like only he can. When the calendar turns to January, the Patriots will again be very difficult to stop.

1. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings were one game away from the Super Bowl last year, and they’ve got stronger this offseason. The biggest change of course comes at quarterback with the signing of Kirk Cousins. Add in the return of talented young running back Dalvin Cook, as well as an already elite defense, and Minnesota has the tools to go all the way.
