Week 15, at Bears: Loss

Statistically, every team loses to another team that nine times out of 10 would have walked away with a win. Most of those losses come from a divisional opponent, and the Bears fit that criterion. It’s what gives us the term “any give Sunday”.

The fact is the Chicago Bears will be a much better team than what people expect. By this time in the season, they’ll be able to figure out their identity and recognize what their strengths are. Mitch Trubisky and company will have more experience and be better equipped for the Packers the second time around.

The same frosty air that infiltrates Green Bay also covers the land of the Windy City. Soldier Field gives a familiar headache to visiting teams that Lambeau Field provides at the end of every season. The Bears will most likely be out of playoff contention at this point, but they can still help decide who can enter the postseason by defeating their rivals.

It’s a hard loss for the Packers to take while the competition for the NFC postseason heats up. A loss like this can humble a team, and luckily for Green Bay, their star quarterback never loses focus.
