Allison scored the Packers’ first touchdown of the game, beating Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller and catching an absolute dime in the corner of the end zone from Rodgers. Allison finished with five receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown, averaging 13.8 yards a reception and a long of 39 yards.
Adams followed up Allison’s touchdown with one of his own. He was able to spark that touchdown drive with a 51-yard reception, advancing Green Bay into the red zone. Adams finished the game with five receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. Adams averaged 17.6 yards per catch last night.
The go-ahead touchdown was from Randall Cobb, who showed off his speed in the open field. After not being open initially, like Cobb does so well, he changed his route back towards the middle of the field where Rodgers was able to find him. After all was said and done, this turned out to be a 75-yard touchdown for Cobb. He caught nine out of 10 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown.
This Packers receiving corps displayed last night just how good they are and were able to show off their play-making abilities.
