1. Aaron Rodgers

Let’s start with the obvious, Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers was injured with a little over nine minutes left to play in the second quarter. The first thought was that the injury might be serious. The awkward bend of his leg and the look on Rodgers’ face as he left the field left Packer Nation with a sick feeling.

As Rodgers was carted to the locker room I couldn’t help but feel as if the season was over before it started. Then, he came back.

When Rodgers left the game, he was three-for-seven passing for only 13 yards.

Upon his return, the Packers were down 20 points and Rodgers of course was hobbled by the injury to his left knee. Then he went on a tear. In the second half, Rodgers was 17-for-23 for 273 yards and three touchdowns. The Packers scored 17 unanswered points before the Bears scored a field goal, making the score 23-17 with 2:39 remaining.

That was more than enough time as Rodgers only needed 26 seconds to put the Packers ahead for good.

Hopefully Rodgers’ injury is not serious and he is able to keep playing. The game plan may have to change, but he has showed he is more than up to the task.
