Justin McCray had a rough first half against the Chicago Bears. Akiem Hicks was able to harass Rodgers all half long. Linval Joseph and Sheldon Richardson are plus inside defenders and will be as hard a matchup the Packers will see until Ndamukong Suh and Aaron Donald for the LA Rams later in the season.

Although McCray and the line played better in the second half, they will need to be on their game from the opening whistle.

If Rodgers plays, he will be hobbled and a rush right up the middle could be bothersome. The running game will also have to be relied upon for the Packers to keep the Vikings defense off balance. McCray will have to move bodies in the middle to open up running lanes.

The entire offensive line will need to play well, but McCray will be the one the Vikings will try to attack. He has the least amount of experience and is playing next to Bryan Bulaga, who is still returning to form.

If McCray and the offensive line can give Rodgers time, he should have enough mobility to slide up and around in the pocket to find an open receiver. The ball will have to come out fast, and the quickest way to disrupt a quick passing game is with inside pressure. McCray will have to be up to the task.
