3. Davante Adams

Davante Adams is off to a solid start to the season, but has not yet had the dominant game expected of a number one receiver. Adams has been his typical self in the red zone, catching all three of his touchdowns inside the 20. But Adams does not have a 100-yard game to his credit this year.

It’s likely Adams will see a lot of second-year Tre’Davious White, Buffalo’s top cornerback. White had a good rookie season and notched four interceptions with 18 passes defended.

The Bills also have two very good safeties in former Packer Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer to help in coverage. But I expect the Bills to allow White to go one-on-one with Adams.

The Packers will move Adams around the formation to get favorable matchups. But when matched up with White, Adams will need to use his experience to take advantage of a young corner.

The Bears, Vikings and Redskins were able to keep Adams from going off, although he still did damage. Rodgers and Adams both admitted the timing has been off so far this season between the two. With an extra day of practice for Rodgers, they should be able to connect on the timing routes that Adams excels at.
