1. Defense dominates

In the past six quarters of football, the Packers defense has given up just three points. After giving up 28 points in the first half at Washington, Mike Pettine’s unit has bounced back in a big way.

Up against a rookie quarterback, the Packers dominated. They sacked Josh Allen seven times and made two interceptions. With the offense struggling to find rhythm, the defense kept the team in control of the game, not giving up any points.

First-round pick Jaire Alexander got his first NFL interception, and this time is wasn’t ruled out by a controversial roughing the passer penalty. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix also made an interception, his third in as many games.

The Bills offense has struggled this season (first half at Minnesota aside), but in previous years the Packers still would have given up points, particularly when they had a big lead.

But Green Bay dominated on Sunday, giving up just 145 total yards.

Alexander suffered a groin injury in the game, which is concerning. The Packers were already without Kevin King. They will need both of them against the Lions’ talented trio of wide receivers next week.

The Packers can take a lot of positives on defense from this game.
