2. Davante Adams

I know it seems like low hanging fruit to pick the top two players on the roster. But if Aaron Rodgers is going to have a run like 2016, Batman will need a Robin.

Davante Adams has a difficult matchup this week facing Xavier Rhodes. Rhodes will likely match up against Adams for most of the night to limit his production.

In their Week 2 meeting, Adams had a good game against Rhodes, catching eight passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. The Packers will need more production like that.

ANALYSIS: Three reasons why the Green Bay Packers will still make the playoffs this year

Adams has been more than up to the task of being a number one receiver for the Packers. He is well on his way to his first 1,000-yard season and has been near impossible to stop even when double teamed.

On top of Adams’ production, his health has been just as valuable. With Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison missing most the season due to injury, Adams’ availability has been a blessing for Rodgers.

Rodgers has had to rely on rookie receivers for long stretches and had he been missing Adams, the Packers’ record could look a lot worse.
