5. Blake Martinez

Blake Martinez has been racking up the tackles. Week after week Martinez has been the leading tackler on the Packers and filling up that line on the stat sheet. Where he has been lacking, however, is game-changing plays.

Martinez is going to get plenty of opportunities this week to make tackles, what he needs to do is turn one of those chances into a turnover. Stripping the ball out of Jordan Howard or Tarik Cohen’s grasp or batting a pass into the air, and giving the Packers a short field would give this team a better chance against a tough defense.

Many of the Packers’ games have come down to turnovers this season. For the most part they have gone against the Packers. It would be nice to see one go in their favor.

This could be a game of let down for the Bears coming off a hard fought Sunday night game against the Rams, a team they were geared up to beat to show they belong. But, anyone who knows this rivalry knows that won’t be the case. These two teams understand the history and tradition that comes with these games.

I’m also certain the Bears would love to clinch the NFC North with a win over the team that has treated them like their doormat for the past 10 years. It will be up to the Packers to make sure that doesn’t happen.
