Cornerbacks (6)

Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Josh Jackson, Tramon Williams, Tony Brown, Ka’dar Hollman

Brian Gutekunst has completely revamped the cornerback position over the past two offseasons, and on paper, the Packers look to be in great shape.

Jaire Alexander is a future star after an impressive rookie season. This is a big year for Kevin King, who needs to stay healthy. But he’s a starting-caliber corner when on the field. Josh Jackson showed flashes of potential in his rookie year, as did Tony Brown. Tramon Williams offers experience and versatility in the secondary as he will be able to line up at either corner or safety.

Despite losing Bashaud Breeland in free agency, the Packers have depth at cornerback, especially after selecting Ka’dar Hollman in the sixth round. Hollman adds speed to the secondary and he’ll make the 53-man roster.

Green Bay’s secondary has the potential to make a big step forward this year, and if the pass rush improves, it’ll only make life easier for the defensive backs. The secondary should be much improved, partly due to the additions made at cornerback since last spring. The Packers’ biggest offseason need a year ago, Gutekunst has addressed the position multiple times since and this group has the potential to be very good in 2019.
