Wide receivers (6)

Davante Adams, Geronimo Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown, J’Mon Moore, Trevor Davis

The Packers showed a lot of confidence in their young wide receiver corps in the draft, deciding not to add talent at the position. Brian Gutekunst had many opportunities to do so in the early rounds but decided against it.

Outside of two-time Pro Bowler Davante Adams, there isn’t a ton of experience at the position. Geronimo Allison has played three seasons in Green Bay but he’s only started eight games and featured just five times in all of 2018 before getting injured. The good news is that in just the first quarter of the season, he set a career-high in receiving yards with 303.

The Packers hope for a second-year jump from last year’s trio of draft picks at the position — Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Equanimeous St. Brown and J’Mon Moore. I have Moore edging out Jake Kumerow on the roster.

Trevor Davis also makes the 53 due to his work on special teams. And who knows, maybe Matt LaFleur will find a role for him on offense.

Overall, this group has a ton of potential. We already know how great Adams is, but if one or two of the young receivers can step up, the Packers will be set at wide receiver. Time will tell whether they should’ve added help in the draft.
