16. vs. Oakland Raiders

Could the Raiders be a much improved team in 2019? Absolutely — but I’m not convinced the Raiders have done enough to make the playoffs after finishing 4-12 last year. They’ve made some big additions with Antonio Brown, Josh Jacobs and Clelin Ferrell, but this team still has work to do. As the game is at Lambeau Field, the Packers should feel confident ahead of this one.

15. at New York Giants

The Giants were already one of the league’s worst teams entering the offseason. Then they decided to trade away their best player, Odell Beckham, to the Cleveland Browns. Yeah, makes no sense to me either. While this game is on the road, the Packers will be expected to win this one comfortably.

14. vs. Washington Redskins

Washington picked up a victory over Green Bay last year, but after losing a couple of key defensive players (including Preston Smith to the Packers), the Packers should get the win at Lambeau Field.

13. vs. Denver Broncos

Like the Packers, the Broncos enter 2019 with a new head coach. Can Joe Flacco lead Denver back to the playoffs? Possibly, but it won’t include a victory at Lambeau. The Broncos made some good offseason additions like Iowa tight end Noah Fant in the first round of the draft, but the Packers should be the better team, and they get to play at home.
