Week 7: Oakland Raiders

The Packers make it three wins in a row (something they haven’t done since Weeks 3-5 in 2017), up against a Raiders team that could struggle to win games this season.

Prediction: Win (5-2)

Week 8: at Kansas City Chiefs

Potentially the Packers’ toughest game of the year comes in Week 8. While there are still some serious questions over the Chiefs’ defense — a unit that allowed 405.5 yards per game in 2018 — their offense will be tough to stop. No offense averaged more points per game than Kansas City last season.

Prediction: Loss (5-3)

Week 9: at Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers also have one of the best offenses in football, even if Melvin Gordon doesn’t play this season. They averaged 26.8 points per game last season and have a strong defense to back it up. While this may feel like a home game for the Packers, the result won’t reflect that.

Prediction: Loss (5-4)

Week 10: Carolina Panthers

Back at home, the Packers get the victory against the Panthers, and an important one up against another potential playoff contender. A key win ahead of the Week 11 bye.

Prediction: Win (6-4)

Week 11: BYE

Week 12: at San Francisco 49ers

After a week off, the Packers are on the road for back-to-back games. Fortunately, the schedule begins to ease up a bit. Up first is San Francisco. Both teams should be improved from last year, but Green Bay wins a potentially high-scoring game.

Prediction: Win (7-4)
