10 best moments for the Packers in the 2019 season so far
8. Davante Adams’ big day vs. Eagles
The result might not have gone the Packers’ way when the Philadelphia Eagles visited Lambeau Field in Week 4, but we can’t forget Davante Adams’ huge performance. Green Bay’s offense had the opportunity to find its rhythm against a struggling Philadelphia pass defense, and the Rodgers-to-Adams connection proved to be unstoppable.
In what became a shootout between two talented offenses, Rodgers kept leaning on his superstar receiver. And Adams delivered. Rodgers threw Adams’ way 15 times, with Adams catching 10 of those targets for 180 yards. He continued to make big plays, with his longest catch going 58 yards.

It’s no coincidence that once Adams left the game with a toe injury, the Packers struggled to score in the red zone. They were shutout on their final two drives, leading to a seven-point victory for the road team. It may have been a different story had Adams stayed in the game.
The Packers were able to find success offensively without Adams on the field, going a perfect 4-0 in the month that followed, but No. 17 is a difference-maker for this offense, and it’s in games like this that we see just what a special talent he is.
