6. Jaire Alexander rips the ball away from Noah Fant

Noah Fant is a player many Packers fans know a lot about. Selected in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, many believed (myself included) that he would be a fine choice by the Packers. Fant has star potential as a receiving tight end, but he didn’t have a great afternoon at Lambeau Field in Week 3.

Second-year star Jaire Alexander made one of the defensive plays of the entire season. Green Bay’s defense has been excellent at forcing turnovers throughout the season. Alexander made a spectacular play on his own here, and it came at a crucial moment.

Fant made a catch on third-and-2 and had enough for the first down. The Broncos were only down 17-10 in the third quarter, making this a key drive in the game. Many defensive backs would’ve been happy enough just to tackle Fant for a small gain and move onto the next play. But not Alexander. He didn’t just make a tackle, but ripped the ball out of Fant’s hands to give the Packers the ball on the Broncos’ 37-yard line.

Green Bay scored four plays later to effectively end the game. The touchdown was set up by Alexander, who made an incredible game-changing play.
