5. Packers finish 5-1 against NFC North opponents

The Packers are halfway through their schedule against division opponents. Three of those games came early in the regular season, and the final three will take place in consecutive weeks to close out the year. So far, it’s been perfect for Green Bay with victories over all three division rivals. The team’s success against the NFC North will continue late in the season.

First up, the Packers meet the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field in Week 15. Green Bay picked up a close 10-3 victory on the road in the season opener back in September. Since then, the defending division champions have fallen out of contention, and the Packers will be strong favorites at home.

The toughest game remaining on the schedule comes a week later at U.S. Bank Stadium, a venue the Packers are yet to win at, and one the Minnesota Vikings remain undefeated at in 2019. In perhaps a battle for the division crown, I predict the Packers will lose their first division game of the season.

But they’ll bounce back against the Detroit Lions in Week 17, even with the game being played at Ford Field. The Lions have won just three games this season and could be without Matthew Stafford, who has missed time due to injury.

The Packers went 1-4-1 against the division last season. I predict they’ll finish 5-1 this time.
