1. Packers heating up at the right time

The Packers have now won six games in a row and are heating up at just the right moment. In that stretch, they’ve allowed just 15.6 points per game.

And overall, this was another strong defensive performance. While they had their struggles in the second half, Russell Wilson has played at an MVP level this season and can make any defense look bad, especially as they tire. But Green Bay still held Seattle to 23 points, limited the running backs to 39 yards and made five sacks. Up against the No. 8-ranked offense in the regular season, that should be considered a good performance.

The offense also looked the best we’ve seen in a while. Rodgers was sharp, Adams dominated and Jones continued to make big plays, finding the end zone twice. The offensive line held up incredibly well despite not having Bryan Bulaga out there, with Rodgers being sacked just twice.

While there’s still a concern with the production of the other receivers outside of Adams, the Packers were able to get the ball in the hands of their star players, and Adams and Jones combined for four touchdowns.
