Cornerbacks: B

Overall, the Packers’ secondary has improved a lot. Jaire Alexander and Kevin King form a solid starting duo at cornerback. Alexander is a rising star and impressed in his second season. He ranked 11th in Pro Football Focus‘ end-of-season cornerback rankings.

Tramon Williams ranked sixth, but he is now a free agent. Soon-to-be 37 years old, the Packers need to decide whether to bring back Williams on a short-term deal. If not, they could turn to Chandon Sullivan, who impressed in 2019 with six pass defenses and an interception.

Josh Jackson faces an uncertain future after seeing his snap counts drop dramatically in his second season.

Depth is a concern, but overall, the Packers are in good shape at cornerback.

Safeties: B+

One of the most improved position groups on the roster in 2019 was safety. Adrian Amos and rookie Darnell Savage gave the Packers a good starting duo, and the sky is the limit for Savage. He did miss some tackles but it was his rookie season and he did a lot very well, being named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team as a result. Green Bay’s starting safeties combined for 13 pass defenses and four interceptions.

Raven Greene and Ibraheim Campbell gave the Packers good depth when they were healthy. Campbell is a free agent but has played well, and the Packers will likely want him back next season.
