6. Running back

Speaking at the NFL Combine, head coach Matt LaFleur spoke about the importance of adding depth at running back. And he’s absolutely right. With LaFleur placing an emphasis on achieving balance on offense, they need to take the pressure off Aaron Jones. When Jones wasn’t at his best, the offense struggled to get out of first gear. If the Packers can add another difference-maker at the position, look out. They could have the strongest backfield in football.

5. Defensive line

The Packers defense ranked 23rd against the run during the regular season, but the worst was yet to come. After allowing the 49ers to run the ball 42 times for 285 yards and four touchdowns, throwing only eight times, in the NFC Championship Game, work needs to be done up front. Getting Kenny Clark some help along the defensive line will be important this spring.

4. Tackle

If Bryan Bulaga re-signs, tackle will drop down a few spots in these rankings. But the longer it goes, the less likely it’s looking he’ll be back. According to Tom Silverstein and Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, there haven’t been any talks between the Packers and Bulaga about an extension since the end of the season. If he walks, finding a new right tackle will be a huge priority this offseason.
