Which prospects should the Packers draft or shaft?

Who should the Green Bay Packers consider at No. 30 overall in the draft, and who should they avoid?

It will be difficult for the Green Bay Packers to get top-end talent at number 30 overall.

But there is no reason they can’t select a player they absolutely want.

Let’s play draft or shaft.

1. Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU

The Packers shouldn’t be holding their breath for Justin Jefferson. Too many teams ahead of them are going to be blown away with the ridiculous amount of talent at the wide receiver position in this year’s draft, and it’s unlikely Jefferson makes it past the Eagles at pick number 21, let alone the remaining eight picks. Jefferson is a very talented receiver who absolutely thrived in LSU’s juggernaut offense that won them a natty’ in 2019.

But for Green Bay, Jefferson’s skillset just isn’t going to move the needle too much. The Packers are as slow as Rich Eisen’s annual 40-yard dash attempt at receiver, and Jefferson, while gifted in other areas, is not going to change that. The Packers have six receivers over six-feet tall. Yes, six. The Packers could stack their receivers on top of each other and begin running Oklahoma drills on the peak of Everest. They must add more speed, twitchiness, and elusiveness to their offense.
