Final Packers 53-man roster predictions with the season a week away.

With just one week to go until the start of the NFL regular season, it’s time to make our final Green Bay Packers 53-man roster predictions.

The Packers will need to trim their roster down to 53 players by Saturday afternoon, not an easy task for general manager Brian Gutekunst. How many quarterbacks should the Packers keep? Will there be five or six wide receivers? Which inside linebackers make the roster? How many undrafted rookies will be part of the roster?

There are so many questions to be asked and in a couple of days we’ll have the answers. The Packers might need to get creative to keep players on the roster bubble they like. Some players they cut might not make it to the practice squad if they are picked up by another team.

It’s time to make the final 53-man predictions for the Packers. Let’s kick off with the special teams.

Note: You can find Christian Borman’s latest 53-man roster predictions here.

Special teams (3) – 3/53

Mason Crosby (K), JK Scott (P), Hunter Bradley (LS)

We’ll start nice and easy. This trio picks itself. Mason Crosby has had no competition this year after winning the job ahead of Sam Ficken this time a year ago. JK Scott remains the punter, although he needs to work on his consistency. Hunter Bradley returns as the long snapper.
