2. Davante Adams returns with two touchdown catches

We haven’t seen much of Davante Adams since the season opener. After catching 14 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1, he made only three catches in Week 2 before having to leave the game due to a hamstring injury that would keep him out of the Packers’ next two contests.

After pushing to play before the bye week, Adams should be 100 percent with two more weeks to recover. After practicing in full earlier in the week, he’s set to make his return against the Bucs on Sunday.

Adams would likely be set to see a lot of coverage from Bucs cornerback Carlton Davis this week, but Davis’ status is up in the air after he missed Wednesday’s practice due to an abdomen injury. The Bucs might aim to double Adams and trust their run defense to stop Aaron Jones taking over the game, but this Packers offense is far too creative and talented for Adams not to make an impact.

Green Bay has shown it can win without Adams, but it will be even stronger with its star wide receiver back in the lineup. I’d be confident Adams would be set for a good game even if Davis plays, but if he’s out or limited, look out.
