Philadelphia Eagles (vs. Saints)

But enough looking behind the Packers in the standings. They won’t have to worry about those teams if they simply win out. There is, however, one team standing in Green Bay’s way for the number one seed in the NFC. That would be the red-hot New Orleans Saints, winners of nine straight despite missing Drew Brees the past few weeks.

Their winning run has to end at some point, so why not this week with Jalen Hurts making his first start for the Philadelphia Eagles?

If the Packers can win each of their remaining four games, they’d need just one Saints loss to take the number one seed. It’s possible that could come next week when New Orleans hosts the Kansas City Chiefs. But we can also hope for an Eagles upset this week.

Home-field advantage might not carry the same importance as usual without full stadiums, but the number one seed is the only opportunity to get a week off. Green Bay’s bye was all the way back in Week 5. By the end of the regular season, this team will have played 12 weeks in a row.

An Eagles win this week would help the Packers potentially move into first place of the NFC with three games to go.
