Three disappointing Packers from the 2020 regular season

Preston Smith had himself quite the disappointing season for the Packers
Disappointment #1: Preston Smith
Preston Smith did not have the best 2020 season. Coming off his stellar 2019 campaign, expectations were high for the Smith Bros. as a whole. His Smith Bro counterpart had himself another great season while Preston floundered.
Preston forced pressures at a much lower rate than last year and after registering 12 sacks a season ago, Smith only tallied four for the 2020 season which is a cause for concern moving forward for the veteran pass-rusher.
There has been quite a lot of discussion about Preston Smith’s spot on the team next year and he may very well find himself on a new team. He’s been linked as a cap casualty for much of the season and this may be coming to fruition as we progress into the offseason. The development of Rashan Gary makes this an easier pill to swallow for Packer fans.
The Smith Bros. were an awesome combination, however, their time together might be coming to an end after this season. Whatever happens with Preston, his 2019 season was something special to watch, and along with Za’Darius, they helped create a great culture on a defense that has been fun to watch. Preston will always be someone that I and many other Packers fans will root for.
