Packers: Three winners from the NFC divisional round
By Cody Young
Gary may have been the best defender on the field for the Packers
Winner #1: Rashan Gary
Rashan Gary’s breakout campaign continues to get even better after another huge performance, this time against the Rams. Gary was a monster, also getting himself 1.5 sacks, 1.5 TFLs, and three more QB hits, per ESPN.
Pro Football Focus also had Gary rated as the Packers’ best defensive player from the game. Gary’s growth and development have been a pleasure to watch this year and he really looks like someone who should be a great player moving forward.
Final thoughts
This win against Los Angeles was dominant on both sides of the ball and I feel this was a complete performance for the Packers. Another unit that I would call a “winner” was the offensive line.
Aaron Donald came into the game dealing with some rib issues but this Packers line came to play nonetheless. Elgton Jenkins in particular was a real stud for Green Bay. Jenkins is not only one of the best linemen on the Packers, but in the entire league as well.
I feel over these last few weeks Green Bay has been been putting together some complete games on both sides of the ball. If they keep up this level of play, they are going to be a tough out for the NFC Championship, especially in Lambeau.
