Week 5: at Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati is a team to watch as last year’s first-overall pick Joe Burrow enters year number two and is back after an ACL tear. The Bengals are a team on the rise, but they’re still a way off. The Packers are the better team and pick up the victory on the road. Green Bay 32, Cincinnati 21 (5-0)

Week 6: at Chicago Bears

The Packers just don’t lose at Soldier Field. Since the 2010 season, Green Bay is 10-1 in road games at Chicago. That’s an insane record, and it includes victories in each of Matt LaFleur’s two trips since taking over as head coach. It’s the Packers’ home away from home, and they win here again in 2021. Green Bay 27, Chicago 17 (6-0)

Week 7: Washington Football Team

This is a potential slip-up game for the Packers. Ryan Fitzpatrick is good enough to help Washington’s offense improve. They have a talented roster and should be contenders in the NFC East again this year, even if the other teams in the division improve. That said, I’m going for a Green Bay win. Green Bay 24, Washington 16 (7-0)

Week 8: at Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals were aggressive in free agency, highlighted by the signing of J.J. Watt. They will provide plenty competition in a tough NFC West battle. The Packers will need an answer for the dominant combination of Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. But we see a vintage Rodgers performance and Green Bay comes away with an important road win. Green Bay 33, Arizona 27 (8-0)
