Tight ends (4)

Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis, Josiah Deguara, Dominique Dafney

With Jace Sternberger suspended for the opening two games of the regular season, the Packers keep Dominique Dafney on the initial 53. He provides some depth behind the top three and played well last season with two starts.

Robert Tonyan will be aiming to build on his breakout 2020 season and has reportedly been impressive at camp so far, while Marcedes Lewis adds a lot to this team and it was smart to bring him back. Second-year Josiah Deguara will be someone to watch once he’s fully healthy.

Offensive line (10)

Dennis Kelly, Royce Newman, Cole Van Lanen, Lucas Patrick, Jon Runyan, Billy Turner, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Myers, Ben Braden, Yosh Nijman

For now, it seems unlikely that All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari will be ready to go for the start of the season, which could mean the Packers place him on the PUP list to begin with. That means we’d need to wait a little longer for his return from injury, but the team has strong depth along the offensive line.

New signing Dennis Kelly can stand in at tackle while Bakhtiari recovers, and he’s already done a good job of imitating the All-Pro at training camp. Kelly and Billy Turner could be the Week 1 starters at tackle, allowing the Packers to keep their starting duo at guard of Elgton Jenkins and Lucas Patrick, with rookie Josh Myers starting at center.
