Packers: Game-by-game predictions for 2021 regular season
Week 11 at Vikings
No matter the talent discrepancy between the Packers and Vikings, games are usually close. Last season, Green Bay was a clear-cut better team, and the Vikings still stole a win. Unfortunately, I think that continues this year.
Dalvin Cook has a good track record against the Packers. This could be another big game for him. When running backs have big games, the Pack tends to lose. Vikings steal one away from the Packers, giving them their third loss in four games.
Packers 18, Vikings 24 (7-4)
Week 12 vs. Rams
A lot of people are high on the Rams this year. I’m not there right now. Yes, Stafford is an upgrade over Goff, but the Packers have faced Stafford a lot over the years. The Rams are also down their starting running back in Cam Akers.
Defensively, the Rams are one of the best units in the league. Aaron Donald is a beast, but Elgton Jenkins handled him well enough in the playoffs last year. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams did just fine against Jalen Ramsey last year, connecting nine times for 66 yards and a touchdown that left Ramsey throwing a fit in the end zone.
I could be completely wrong here, but I just don’t think the Rams are up to the Packers’ level right now.
Packers 23, Rams 17 (8-4)
Week 13 – Bye
After a tough few weeks, the bye week comes at a good time to get healthy and reevaluate the rest of the season.
Week 14 vs. Bears
After the bye week, the Packers come out hot and ready to go. By now, Fields has to be the starter for the Bears. Fields is still just a rookie. I think Green Bay can force some mistakes and turn the turnovers into points.
This is a huge win for the Packers, especially with a trip to Baltimore looming the next week.
Packers 27, Bears 15 (9-4)
