Packers passing offense should play well on Sunday

No. 3: The passing game

This one might be the most obvious on the list but the Packers’ high-powered passing attack can absolutely put the Steelers secondary to work on Sunday afternoon. With the loss of veteran Mike Hilton, the Steelers are left with a bunch of unproven payers at CB, minus veteran Joe Haden.

This is something that Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ offense should be looking to exploit. The Steelers do have Minkah Fitzpatrick, who is an All-Pro caliber player but even he has gotten off to a very poor start this season, currently sitting at a 28.5 PFF grade.

That being said, Fitzpatrick is still an elite safety who can take over a game at any time so Green Bay should be cautious about throwing to his coverage. It will be interesting to see if Pittsburgh can find a way to contain Davante Adams, who has been playing at another level as of late.

Another piece of news that came out on Friday is that WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling will be placed on IR and will miss at least the next three games. This obviously isn’t ideal for Green Bay, as they don’t really have another player with his skillset. That being said, I’m still confident in the offense to take advantage of this Steelers secondary.
