Conference championship

The Packers can’t play the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. If Philadelphia beats Tampa Bay this week, it will be on the way to Lambeau Field for the divisional round. But Green Bay could potentially host any of the other five teams.

Best-case scenario: Arizona Cardinals

On their day, the Cardinals can beat anyone. They have road victories over the Rams and Cowboys this season. If DeAndre Hopkins and J.J. Watt are able to return for the playoffs, that will certainly help.

Any opponent in the NFC title game would be tough as they would have won two playoff games to get there, but a matchup with the Cardinals is more favorable than one with the San Francisco 49ers, Rams, Cowboys, or Buccaneers.

Worst-case scenario: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

They are the two-seed and defending Super Bowl champions for a reason. January is when the season begins for Tom Brady. With the second-ranked offense, a talented defense, and an experienced team that went all the way just a year ago, this would be a real challenge for the Packers.

Tampa Bay is the last team to win at Lambeau having eliminated Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game last January. It would be great to return the favor this time around, but that would be no easy task.
