The offensive line is another position the Packers are going to have to give some attention to in the draft. The tackle positions should be set with one more year of Billy Turner at right tackle and David Bakhtiari returning to play left tackle.

Josh Myers will be the starting center and I would assume Jon Runyan Jr. and Royce Newman will be the starting guards. Outside of that, there is little to no depth. Who knows how long Elgton Jenkins’ knee injury will keep him out, but I’m guessing it’s fair to say that he won’t be ready for the start of the season.

I think they bring Yosh Nijman back, who in my opinion, played very well this year and should have been the starting left tackle against the 49ers in their loss on Saturday.

But either way, the Packers are going to need to add some depth. Ed Ingram is a guard from LSU who has played both left and right guard, and according to The Draft Network, can give quality snaps at tackle as well. He has a lot of versatility, which is something the Packers value with the offensive linemen.

When I read his draft profile, I got the feeling this dude has a mean streak, which is what I love about offensive linemen. From The Draft Network:

"“Ingram has exceptional competitive toughness as displayed by his willingness to finish blocks. Delivers blows that are meant to inflict pain on defenders. In his pass sets, he is always looking for extra work and an opportunity to get extra contact with a defender.”"

You can never have enough versatile linemen. Ingram is versatile and loves to initiate contact. I think he is a name to keep your eye on leading up to the draft. I don’t thing by draft weekend he will be a fourth-round pick.
